Student Rights in the Era of AI: What It Means for Open Education

I participated as a panelist in a national webinar examining student rights and agency in the age of artificial intelligence. Drawing on my experience as a student co-author and editor of Open Professional and Technical Editing with Handbook, I contributed an editorial and student perspective on how AI is reshaping open pedagogy and higher education, its role in the writing process, and the importance of preserving student agency, authorship, and voice in AI-assisted learning and writing.
